As a trailblazer, I have a strong background in sports and storytelling, navigating a male-dominated world from a young age. Despite financial challenges, I pursued my passion for sports with determination. Aware of the underrepresentation of Black women in sports reporting, I was motivated to pursue Journalism. Excelling academically with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, I am now pursuing an M.A. in Professional Communication and Digital Media to continue breaking barriers and amplifying underrepresented voices.
